Put-put-putting around the world in a little chocolate tugboat.

I really don't have time to be online right now, as I have considerable cleaning to do and still need to get some groceries. >_O
But small things like that couldn't stop me from stopping by the library to "check on a few things"....about thirty-eight minutes ago. >_<
I'm so responsible. >.>
So yeah...gotta go.

In time, it all fades away....

Except for that pesky stain on the carpet from when you dropped that jar of grape jelly. >_<

I smoked a bent cigarette this morning. It made my day feel like an episode of Cowboy Bebop.

Ouch. >-<

A little before 4:00 am on wednesday morning, my foot got caught under a cart I was pulling, causing me to fall and sprain it rather badly. The good news is, Meijer is paying for the doctor visit. The bad news is that after spending several hours in urgent care, and then returning to meijer to drop off my workman's comp. paperwork and doctor's note (yay for not having to do any hard work for a while), I didn't get home till after noon. -_-
The good news is that Transformers finally came out on DVD, so I was able to pick up a special edition two disc set before I (finally) went home.

So, I was on crutches last night, but now I can manage to get around pretty well with just one crutch, so hopefully by the next time I work (friday night) I'll be able to walk unassisted, if with a limp.
I have to go back to the doctor friday morning, so we'll see.

Water from the sky.

I love rain, whether it's a warm summer downpour, temporarily cooling off a hot day, or scattered spring showers, bring new life to dormant plants, or even an angry winter storm. But nothing compares to a good, long, autumn drizzle. The grayish hue of the sky and the dim light seem to bring the reds and golds of the trees to life like liquid fire that the rain cannot quench. The feel of it against my skin, the sound of it hitting my hat, my jacket, the windows of my car or house...
Somehow, it just makes me feel at home.

Look outside, it's that time of year again.

Fifty degree weather, overcast, and yes, the leaves are starting to fall.
I don't know why I like this time of year so much, but somehow it just clicks for me.
All I know for sure is that days like today are why October is my favorite month.
It's been a long hot summer, and some difficult things have happened, though I've had my share of fun as well. The rest of the time it was just boring and uncomfortable, but now that the weather's starting to cool down, I feel like everything fits into place again.
I wonder how long this feeling will last...

Second Rule of Climbing: Friction is a fickle thing.

When I'm at work, I have all sorts of ideas of things to blog about.
By the time I get to the library, I've either forgotten them, or I'm just to tired to do it. u_u
I haven't gotten home on time since I got transferred, and, while the money is nice, my life is suffering. >_<

First Rule of Climbing: Gravity is NOT your friend!

First day at my new job and I get two hours of overtime.
My feelings are somewhere between "Yay money!" and "Ick, I didn't get home till almost ten. D:

And now, a random image by Lauren:

Hopefully I'll have my own interwebs soon. (Like, October)

"Warning: this comic occasionally contains strong language (which may be unsuitable for children), unusual humor (which may be unsuitable for adults),

and advanced mathematics (which may be unsuitable for liberal-arts majors)."

Hooray for xkcd.
Boo for limited title length.

In other news, I got my transfer, also I'm now working in grocery, also a ten cent raise.
I'm back to being part time, but I'll still get close to forty hours a week.
It just means that my hours can get cut more easily than if I were full time.
Still, not 28x2 miles per day is a good thing.

Today is a perfect day.

65 degrees outside, not cloud in the sky, and I can see the moon in daylight.
For all that I love rain, as sunny days go, it's a good one.

Go out and have some fun.

Ergh....

I've done so much worldbuilding and now I can't think of a plot. T_T

ESC KEY

Whoo hoo personalized plates.
That one was on a yellow Corvette, top down, successful looking 50ish buisness type at the wheel.

Anyway, I need to get some more work done on that story...
If I get any sort of cohesive plot together, I'll try and post the first installment this week.

Did I mentiond it before?
I'm attempting to write a serial novel. Those of you who've BESMed with me will probably recognize the main character and the setting...
Anyway, I'm gonna try and finish part one tonight. Look for it wednesday, it'll be in it's own blog.
Wish me luck and inspiration!

Incidentally, the rain was beautiful.

Monday was very nice...and wet. :D

So, I've been told I should be getting transfered within "a couple of weeks."
Assuming of course, that niether of my replacements decide to up and quit. >_O
Keep you fingers crossed, guys. >_<

Existential elephants effect exciting events everyday.

You know how sometimes, everything goes just the way you imagined and hoped it would, but....It's not the right person.
Maybe you'll find her someday. >_<

Today's needlessly emo post was brought to you by: The letter E.

Car as a melee weapon.

I have a nice new dent on the side of my car.
Apparently, some idiots got into a fight out in the parking lot and my car was used as a hard surface against which heads were bashed.
*sigh* Such is life in the "less bad" part of town.
Seriously people, grow up?

Geez, that was a long layover, and even I can only read for so long...

Alternate title: The DS just bumped the Wii and a new computer for top spot on my console priority list.

Yeah... I miss having a gameboy.

In other news: I'm home! Yay!
I have to work tonight! Not so yay!
Yay!
>_<
I had a great vacation, now wish me luck on my transfer.

Coming home!

Yeah, I'm in a coffee shop in Mexico.
And I fly home this afternoon, but I won't get there until 7:00am tomorrow morning.
So, wish me a safe flight and I'll blog you soon. :d

The future is now...and now....and now....darn, I just can't keep up.
